So happy I am here.

Floating in the void, enjoying the view.  This moment of pause between things.

Sorting out my thoughts, deciding what I am going to build, where I am going to go.

A few years back… (which might mean decades)

… There was this Rocket Man suggesting terraforming Mars, and I thought to myself, ‘That would be the way  to retire. Zero-G senior home orbiting the red planet, spending my days planting the Mars one seed at a time.’

I might want to learn how to fly drones.  It’s not much different from a game controller…

The postcards are built and rendered in DAZ3d I invested in (myself) by getting those landscapes and props. I also tried to reproduce retro book covers.

Note to self, cite your sources. [Re-learning organization skills, please be patient.]

There is a lovely culture over at Dungeon Alchemist of giving credit for the assets honoring the asset builders in a simple gesture of mention.

It reframes a lot for me, as an artist. I had been thinking of the medium in the way I might in an art gallery display as a simple input Ink on cardstock. It does pay respect to the hard work of others.  I started looking into the asset makers in the Dungeon Alchemist steam workshop and they IMPRESSED!

Admitting fan girl. I haven’t been doing this in other apps and art programs, giving credit where it is due, so I start now DAZ 3d Favorite:  MartinJFrost | Daz 3D

This is highbar for me as a 3d modeller.  I love MartinJFrost’s plants.

3D Daydream # 34, My own little virtual plant shop/warehouse/botanical garden/ bio-dome!  Yeah, my daydreams grow as they go….

I Know I Can.  I’ve already done it. Over and over again.

This is what gamers do.

Hours throwing themselves into the same maze until they hit every mark, every coin, feather, or mushroom in the route while dodging the traps and demolition of the world as Every boss and their cousins come after them….

I believe it’s transferable. Going as hard at learning something new (life long learner) as I go at playing a game.  I have been testing this in the Real World, and finding earned rewards in the action.

You can test it:

I propose that SelfConfidence in Skill Growth  is transferable to new and untried skills.
