I have had the Best Fun since I decided to Participate with the Dungeon Alchemist community at the beginning of the year 2025.  New years goals and all.  I have been attending every stream I can and catching up on the years I missed.  

What the community manager Mac doesn’t know 

is that his Youtube videos got me through 

two hurricanes and several weeks without power 2024.  Ikr?!

I tried the free trail and immediately purchased Dungeon Alchemist,

finding the tools intuitive and color palettes enchanting, then BAM >>> Hello Helene!

Clean up, wait for power to come back on… 

get back to figuring out Dungeon Alchemist and here comes Milton..!! Clean up, wait for power…  charging my phone in the car watching Mac showcasing AMA style this amazing 3D map making tool….  That I can’t play for weeks.

It was very much like tearing a tiny hole through the wrapping paper to peek at the gift, knowing what it is… but having to watch videos of other kids playing with the same toy, you can’t touch yet… but you KNOW it’s there!!

Don’t worry. 

I have incredible patience.

The summer before I had been learning about Wonderdraft and Dungeondraft.

Finding the asset makers and their Patreons…

Then I found SaC

And what SaC and Mac do not know… is that Sac’s maps are why I tried the free trail!

Which led me to Mac, and then… discord (WHERE IT’S AT!) 

A community of mappers, a welcoming crew, 

Who got me through hurricanes (not just one, but two!)

What Mac doesn’t know, and what SaC can’t see; 

Their maps and their streams meant the world to me. 

Through power outages, storms, and waiting in cars, 

I watched them make dungeons beneath all the stars.

SaC led me to trial, Mac kept me inspired, 

while grilling thawing freezer meats on a charcoal fire.

Unimaginable….>> An online community found 

when the power lines were down.

Now I’m making my maps with this wonderful pack—
