I’ve got deep in a map again. I just posted my submission for the bi-weekly DAM Challenge.  The theme this time was “Castle.”  This is the 3rd version. The first one had the cannon’s too close to the water.  I got to hear a fantastic recounting of a documentary, explaining how cannons work and the logistics of projectiles during black powder era.  Then the topic got side-tracked with discussing “head cannon,” [a new phrase for me.]  It’s the lore and history in a (mapper/ world builder/ game master’s) mind about >>> why things are where they are, the way they are and how they came to be that way.<<

A very satisfying commute call for both of us!

Please enjoy your visit to The Eyrie Palisade Palace.
