It’s official. One full calendar year of “Participate.”
AS a yearling… and no longer a newbie, nor rookie,
I kind of feel like I earned the jersey, (or at least the cap, come on now…!?)
I had such great feedback from my fellow cartographers today!
It’s obvious I am a big fan of the folks I am (virtually) hanging around…
(blushing… SO Obviously geeked out over Random Ladybirds gardens…I do have an update as the hunt continues.)
And I found Metaphor this week!!
Steam Workshop – Search word “Artifacts” Out of Nowhere this asset maker published these gorgeous mythical creatures. Simurgh! I choose you!
Yes. I am following!
I’m excited to see what the other cartographers built and read/*hear-read the stories behind it.
These folks are making cool things. I love being part of this community.
And that changes everything.
*It’s called chat. Its icon is a speech bubble… yet >>> Still Reading. lol.
I know for a fact I don’t have the skills as some…
or the tech to pull off simultaneously casting on different streams…
Or even one stream XD. (Yet.)
Or all the other stuff I could load myself down with to Not Even Try.
The not-even-try guy…is NOT who you want to be chained to in the Gladiator Ring, that’s for sure. Too hard? Scale that softer… huh?
It’s been a minute since I related to that POV
and hard for me to step back into since…
Since I decided to try.
All the “what’s the point” or “it’s too hard/out of reach” thinking got Upgraded.
Same Logic node, purged from viral programming sounds more like “What would that look like? “What would that take?” “Is there another way to achieve a similar effect?” “How much work/time/effort/commitment is required?”
I can admit I am not up to the same skill level as others.
To me … it’s kind of obvious… yk… All people are different. Everyone’s Unique.
To some, it’s a huge problem. [Comparison? One-up/One/down?] There can be only one-ism or some such.
Cured with: “There is no one right way.” >>Paradigm Upgrade.<<
[Hint: I know it’s an UPgrade because my life Improves when I apply Better thinking.]
Respect the hard work of others is another one of the rules I apply when walking through the world.
To truly respect what these folk are doing – try to build what they did…. right?
Been trying for a year now.
Running with the big dogs on my little cat legs!
