The cartographers were very generous with feedback on this challenge. It feels good!
Much appreciation for my unusual architectural approach.
This might be my year for being Bull-headed! Unleashing the inner-minotaur! A small township of minotaurs, with the foundry, forge, mill and bakery, needs a few more SHOPS and farms and I may have my first town!
Btw, next them for the Dungeon Alchemist Challenge is… shops.
Go figure. As though >> guiding worldbuilders. Behind the scene all these talented mappers are skilling up with that goal in mind.
Definitely found my people! It took me a bit to warm up to the “DamFam” (in-speak)
…also being a pseudo-orphan…(both parents passed, disowned or estranged by siblings, and alienated to extended relatives (blacksheep/scapegoat etc etc) Fam aka Family… as word doesn’t/didn’t give the warm-fuzzies to me the way one might expect.
I stayed firm in the “Dam-Nation” zone for about 7 months.
The eighth month…life changed.
What occupied a great deal of my time and focus fell away.
My schedule opened up. I could watch more of the tutorials. I could spend time going through the Discord learning about the developments and growth of the mapping program. I could study more video editing. (Got more morph-cuts to make!!)
I had that extra $ (not funding an extra adult) and could invest in myself in subscriptions, to Suno.ai where my music gets made, to Patreon where I get to watch what the Big Dog are building and how they are approaching marketing.
The “there for each other” factor, can not be replicated or synthesized.
I think I found a unique grouping of people who are genuine, encouraging and supportive of each other and especially of each other’s goals, dreams and ambitions.
THIS makes all the difference between Nation and Fam.

This is beautiful! [Overview of BlueMayje’s map.] “The Forge of Worlds
Beyond the firmament on a isle slowly drifting through the cosmos, the World-Smith labors in silence, hammering molten stars into newborn planets. Each strike shapes fate itself, for from this forge are cast the worlds that will one day know life and ruin in the never-ending cycle of creation and destruction.”
