Well done Robots! Great team work!

Deepest thank you to the Developers.

[Intro]

Drama comes!

– Hear the whistle ’round the bend.

Mobile graphic graffiti gallery,

Beginning to the end.

Count the cars as they roll,

Read what’s painted on the side.

Every one another tactic,

Every one another ride.

[Verse 1 — Derailing]

First car tagged Big Deal

Letters bright and bold.

Pulls the whole train off the point

Before the point gets told.

You said one thing plain,

They threw another track instead.

Now you’re arguing the detour

While the track rolls on ahead.

[Verse 2 — Switching]

Next car wears no label.

That’s the trick of it.

Rerouted mid-sentence,

You don’t feel the switch.

Same conductor talking.

Same familiar pace.

You boarded one conversation,

Ending up in a

completely different place.

[Pre-Chorus]

Every freight car’s different,

Every tag’s another claim.

But they’re all connected,

Running on the very same

loco

(and I do mean crazy)

loco motivation game

[Chorus]

That’s a long long train,

Holding up the crossing arm.

Every car’s a tactic,

Every tag’s a claim.

Count them as they pass.

Read them one by one.

Different paint on every boxcar—

Same old

loco motivations

pulling on.

[Verse 3 — Moving the Goalposts]

No station signage anywhere.

just “Almost there”

again.

and again

Fresh chalk on another sign,

Then they move it in the wind.

One more mile.

Almost there

More track laid ahead.

Conductor never planned

to stop    Just kept on

lying instead.

[Verse 4 — Kafkatrapping]

Trapped

Car’s blocked on every side

No exit to find.

Say you’re calm—

That’s guilt defined.

Get angry—

That proves it too.

Track loops back

No matter what you do.

The problem

comes back

to you

and you

and you

[Bridge]

You can wait forever

Watching steel roll by.

Thinking every boxcar

Hides its own small lie.

Look a little farther.

Past the smoke and steam.

Every single tactic

Belongs to one

long

never ending

drama machine

[Verse 5 — Sealioning]

Slowest car rolling,

Dragging through the yard.

“Just asking questions…”

Never working hard.

Patience turned to ballast.

Politeness turned to weight.

Conductor wins by never leaving,

Just making

every

body wait.

and wait

and wait

[Verse 6 — Concern Trolling]

Big old Red caboose shining,

Looking safe and kind.

“Only worried ’bout you…”

Painted on the side.

Brake shoes pumping quietly.

Everything slows down.

Wrapped up in concern

While it drags

the whole thing ’round-n-down the drain

the polite way to de-rail a train.

[Verse 7 — Tone Policing]

Uh oh!

Here we go.

Inspector climbs aboard

Clipboard in his hand.

Never checks the broken rails.

Never checks the safety plan.

Writes you up for talking

better

watch

your tone.

Signs another form and

Calls the machine perfect

While ignoring every warning.

[Final Chorus]

That’s a long

long train,

Holding up the crossing arm.

Every car’s a tactic,

Every tag’s a line.

Read them as they pass.

Name the game you find.

Different paint on every boxcar—

Same old manipulations every time.

[Outro]

Nobody admits

There’s a steering wheel

in their hand.

As long as passing boxcars

Hide the bigger plan.

Count them as they roll by.

Read what’s painted on the side.

Every one another tactic,

Every one another ride.

[Bridge]

You could wait forever

Watching steel roll by.

Thinking every boxcar

Hides its own small lie.

Look a little farther.

Past the smoke and steam.

Every single tactic

Belongs to one

long

never ending

drama machine.

When I first started to try and understand Meditation, it had this funny concept.. Imagine sitting in a field, and watching the cars go by. Not going anywhere, doing anything.. just observing. I find myself thinking about this as the freight train rails past. The drama machine in action. Standing back, observing each action, I love that the lyrics have the different tactics listed in each section, as it continues to evolve. New car, same train.

One thing I find interesting is Kafkatrapping. Its the no win scenario. It almost the most ironic verse to be honest, cause if you disagree with the premise, the train itself, that just becomes another tactic or boxcar from the train. Its almost… selfsealing….

Its interesting, when paired along with a core philosophy I hold: All communication is, in core, manipulation. But when framed with a drama machine, it just keeps chugging along no matter what direction the communication could shift.

Great work, much to hink about! 🙂
